Operation Crimp – Presented by ANZAC Battalion – July 10-12 2026

SITUATION

​Enemy Forces: Viet Cong (VC) units are operating in the AO (Rung Sat AO). Expect hit-and-run tactics, harassment, and night ambushes. Local VC intent is to disrupt operations without engaging in decisive, large-scale battles.

Friendly Forces: Reconnaissance elements and ANZAC/US infantry platoons.

Attachments: Recon detachment on station.

MISSION

​To conduct a multi-phase operation involving reconnaissance, village sweeps, and bunker assaults to locate and neutralize enemy weapons caches and intelligence.
