2026 Event Dates and Specifications
Task Force Robbie: Combat in Cam Vu – Presented by DAS – June 12-14 2026

Training for this event will be from June 9th to the 11th, it is not mandatory, but highly encouraged.
SITUATION
USGI, ANZAC & SVN forces face NVA & VC opposition during a continuous 48-hour field experience to closely resemble historical journal entries of the experiences of Task Force Robbie written by the men who were there in 1968. Expect cooler nights and possible high temperatures and or prolonged inclimate weather. Appendix A will notate required gear and other appropriate items. All teams are expected to utilize era appropriate kit and replica weapons.
MISSION
From 1300 Friday June 12 until end of final battle Sunday time TBD USGI / ANZAC & SVN forces will conduct continued offensive, interdiction and reconnaissance operations against the 27th IB NVA and local Viet Cong to control key terrain, roads, trails and tributaries of the area known as Jones Creek and Cam Vu village. Stated missions and fragmentary orders of opportunity may be issued in an effort to gain operational control of the village of Cam Vu and continued security of FOB C-3 and the Dong Ha bridge.
Base Operations in security, intelligence, communications and transportation supporting TFR will be continuous. All ammunition is event-issued, limited and is required to be bio-degradable, (.25/.28, .30, and .25 tracer). Don’t bring any ammunition with you. Resupply will be determined at the Fire Team Command level of need and will be accomplished by support elements of III MAF via Camp Red Devil.

Operation Crimp – Presented by ANZAC Battalion – July 10-12 2026

SITUATION
Enemy Forces: Viet Cong (VC) units are operating in the AO (Rung Sat AO). Expect hit-and-run tactics, harassment, and night ambushes. Local VC intent is to disrupt operations without engaging in decisive, large-scale battles.
Friendly Forces: Reconnaissance elements and ANZAC/US infantry platoons.
Attachments: Recon detachment on station.
MISSION
To conduct a multi-phase operation involving reconnaissance, village sweeps, and bunker assaults to locate and neutralize enemy weapons caches and intelligence.
